USB Power Blocker - Stops Charging, Allows Data

This is NOT a data blocker

This is a USB-A male to female adaptor which has the D+, D- and 0V (GND) connected but the 5V disconnected, so power cannot pass through.

Useful for specialist applications such as 3D Printers and Raspberry Pi where providing power results in undesirable effects

I've been using this to prevent my 3d printer from back feeding power to my devices. Originally was using it to protect my raspberry pi, and now it's protecting my Sonic Pad.

If you're running Klipper on your 3D printer and have weird stability issues (including undervoltage warnings or wifi consistency) or maybe the LCD screen is staying on when you've turned off the main power, it's being caused from the USB on the Raspberry Pi board sending 5V power to the printer control board. If you won't want to deal with hacking up a USB cord to cut the red power wire or trust that sticking electrical tape over the pin in the plug will work, then this is a quick and easy solution.
