Isolated 5V Analog/Digital Power Regulator

What is it?

Provide isolated digital and analog 5V power outputs which accepts input voltage from 5.5 V to 18 V and can supply up to 200 mA (1W). Intentionally designed for operation with 9V guitar pedal power supplies.

This module features the following primary components:

1. TPS7A2450DBVR Low-Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator
2. B0505XT-1WR3 Isolated DC/DC Converter

Why did you make it?

I struggled to avoid digital noise in analog circuits when working with microcontrollers and I2S audio ADCs, DACs, and codecs. This module attempts to simplify the powering of your devices and reduce noise in your analog circuits.

If powering a MCU that could also be provided USB (VBUS) power, it is recommended to add a diode between +5VD and VIN/VSYS to avoid backfeeding.

What makes it special?

The B0505XT-1WR3 is the star of the show here and provides isolated +5VD and +5VA power sources. Separate ground planes are also provided for DGND and AGND.
