M2Slim V1.1

The M2Slim kit allows the installation of an M.2 SATA SSD adapter into a cutout created in the DVD drive bay of an SCPH-700XX model PS2 Slim. 3D printed jigs for accurate drilling and cutting are provided as well as drawings for using CNC milling service if desired.

Build Instructions are not yet finalised but will be ready before release.

Kit Includes: 1x M2Slim Adapter, 1x drill jig, 1x shell cut jig, 4x DVD drive spacers, 1x M2Slim mounting bracket, 3x mounting screws, 1x set of M.2 stand off and screws.

DISCLAIMER: While I have done my best to make the install as easy as possible this is still an advanced mod requiring tools and moderate soldering and craft skills (if cutting the shell by hand). I would not recommend this to a beginner. Please seek a professional installer if you do not feel confident with any of the steps described in the build instructions.

* PS2 IDE hardware is bottlenecked to ~80MB/s in benchmarks and ~20MB/s in real world use.

^† SSD height can vary. Always check clearance before inserting a disk with an SSD.

Should be compatible with all SCPH-700XX versions.

SSD compatibility - SATA SSDs are generally reliable but this list will be updated if any issues are discovered.
