ESP32 RGB LED(HUB 75 type) Matrix panel Controller

Note: Only includes the controller board and cables. Does not include the RGB LED matrix panel.

What is it?

This board for easily controlling RGB LED Matrix panel. and designed to work with the awesome ESP32 SmartMatrix, ESP32-RGB64x32MatrixPanel-I2S-DMA arduino library

Why did you make it?

The RGB LED matrix panels are one of the coolest displays you can use with an Arduino, but there is quite a bit of wiring to connect them up and also they are a little awkward to power. This board makes wiring them really simple! The board just slots directly onto the input header pin.

What makes it special?

utilizes the DMA functionality provided by the ESP32's I2S 'LCD Mode' which basically means that pixel data can be sent straight from memory, via the DMA controller, to the relevant LED Matrix GPIO pins with little CPU overhead.

As a result, this library can theoretically provide ~20 bit colour, at various brightness levels without resulting in noticeable flicker.
