Glitch Works GW-12887-1 Replacement for DS12887 RTCs

For sale are new made GW-12887-1 RTC/CMOS repair boards and assembled modules. Please choose whether you want just the repair board (requires a dead DS12887) or the fully assembled module (drop-in replacement) before ordering:

Repair Board Only Option

If you choose the repair board only option, you must supply a chip to mount it on. These repair boards can be installed on a new DS12885 or can be used to repair an existing DS12887 module with a dead battery. When the battery dies, simply remove it and insert another CR1225 coin cell! You will receive the item shown in the second picture -- a repair board and CR1225 lithium coin cell. Other pictures illustrate the paneling process and the finished GW-12887-1 module. Again, the Repair Board Only option is for the repair board only, no RTC IC is included.

Complete Module Option

If you choose the complete module option, you'll receive a preassembled GW-12887-1, made with a brand new DS12885 IC. Assembled GW-12887-1 RTC modules are 100% drop-in replacements for the DS12887, pre-assembled and ready to go. If you choose this option, you will receive the item in the first picture, which is ready to be used as delivered. You'll also receive a new CR1225 lithium coin cell.
