The ATtiny High Voltage Serial Programmer is a standalone recovery tool designed to restore AVR fuse settings, regardless of their current state.
Accidentally programmed the wrong fuse values? Disabled the SPI programming interface? Set the RSTDISBL fuse? Selected incorrect clock settings? Debug Wire enabled? No problem.
Simply insert the supported ATtiny device in the correct socket, connect power, and within seconds the programmer restores the fuses back to their factory default settings.
LED indicators provide immediate feedback:
Green LED: Programming successful
Yellow LED: Programming error

Recover From Common Fuse Mistakes
AVR fuse programming is powerful, but it is easy to accidentally configure a device in a way that prevents normal ISP programming.
This programmer can recover devices with issues such as:
RSTDISBL fuse accidentally programmed
SPIEN fuse disabled
Incorrect CKSEL clock fuse settings
Other incorrect fuse configurations
Once restored, the ATtiny device can be programmed again using your preferred ISP programmer and software.
Never worry about permanently losing an AVR device because of a fuse mistake again!
Preserve Your Flash and EEPROM Data
A special feature of this programmer is the ability to restore fuses while preserving your existing program memory.
To preserve the Flash and EEPROM contents:
Install jumper J1
Perform the fuse restore operation
The erase command will be skipped, allowing your existing firmware and data to remain intact.
Important Note About Lock Bits
If the device lock bits have already been programmed, the chip must be erased before the fuse restore operation can complete successfully.
In this situation:
Remove jumper J1
The erase operation will be performed
Flash and EEPROM contents will be erased during recovery
Easy Standalone Operation
No PC is required.
Simply:
Insert the ATtiny device into the programmer.
Connect the required power supply.
Start the recovery operation.
Check the LED result.
The entire process takes only seconds.
Power Supply Requirements
For reliable operation, you must use:
DC power supply greater than 14.5V
Positive center polarity
The power supply is not included in order to reduce cost and shipping weight.
Before use, it is recommended to verify your power supply voltage and polarity with a voltmeter.

It is surprisingly easy to make a mistake while programming AVR fuses. Sometimes the fuse settings simply do not end up as expected, leaving the device unusable with a normal programmer.
